We were called to a private house in Fulwood, Preston, they were having new carpets fitted, The carpet fitter was unsure about the floor tiles and didn’t want to carry on without testing them. We carried a test out and a positive result for asbestos was confirmed, Our recommendations were for a competent contractor to remove as they were an unlicensed product.
This goes to show even carpet fitters are in danger of asbestos fibres.
