Resolve Asbestos Management visited the property in Blackpool to carry out an Asbestos Refurbishment and Demolition Survey in connection with their clients obligations with respect to the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2012. one of our asbestos management surveyors carried out the requested Survey in accordance with HSG264 and HSG227 to determine whether asbestos or asbestos containing materials (ACMs) were contained within the building.
The site is located in Blackpool, Lancashire and consists of a pre-fabricated wooden structure with a separate detached annexe. The property was carefully inspected by a qualified surveyor with samples of suspect materials collected as deemed necessary.
In this case we found material we believed to be asbestos in the wall & roof panels of the building. Once we identify a potential asbestos containing material we take samples of the materials and then send them off to a certified laboratory for confirmation of asbestos fibres. Our asbestos survey reports go into details of asbestos materials found and we also offer advise on removal or how to make the materials safe and how to manage them, in this case we recommended to us a competent asbestos contractor prior to refurbishment or demolition.
